Shoup Glacier, Prince William Sound, Alaska: July
1999
During our camping trip to Alaska in
1999, Therese and I had the opportunity to rent a sea kayak in Valdez, Alaska,
for an overnight trip. We packed up our camping gear and paddled from
Valdez to Shoup Glacier in Prince William Sound (about 14 miles), camped on the
shore overlooking the glacier, and paddled back to Valdez the next day.
