Seven Oaks Farm
(named for the seven species of oaks that appear on the farm: Black, Bur, Chinquapin, Pin, Red, Shingle, and White)

Our farmhouse in 1912

One of the main reasons that we enjoy our farm is that we are interested in observing and protecting wildlife. The farm consists of many different habitats (mature forest with a stream, field under succession, fencerow, open field, and a pond) in which many wildlife species either make their homes or stop on their way through.  Here are some representative pictures.
